Email to Customers

Customer email notifications are automatically sent to your customers when their shipment reaches a specific status. Each notification type can be turned on independently and customized with your own branding and content.

Available notifications

Notification

What it means

Info received

When shipment status changes to "Info received"

The carrier has received a request from the shipper and is preparing to pick up the package

In transit

When shipment status changes to "In transit"

The shipment is in transit

Out for delivery

When shipment status changes to "Out for delivery"

The shipment is out for delivery

Waiting for pickup

When shipment status changes to "Waiting for pickup"

The shipment is out for delivery or has arrived at the collection point for pick up.

Delivered

When shipment status changes to "Delivered"

Parcel delivered successfully

Exception

When shipment status changes to "Exception"

Parcel is damaged, returned, customs detained, or other abnormal situations

Failed attempt

When shipment status changes to "Failed attempt"

Carrier attempted to deliver but failed due to address issues or unavailability of the recipient

Turn on a notification

  1. Go to Notification in the left navigation

  2. Select the To customers tab

  3. Find the notification you want to enable

  4. Click Turn on

The notification is now active and will send automatically when the trigger condition is met.

Customize an email template

Each notification has its own email template that can be customized independently.

  1. Click Customize next to the notification you want to edit

  2. The email editor opens with a live preview on the right

  3. Edit the following sections as needed:

Section
Description

Brand

Your logo, brand color, and store name displayed in the email header

Subject

The email subject line

Email content

The main body text of the email

Footer

Footer text, links, and unsubscribe message

Shipment items

Show or hide the list of items in the shipment

Other shipments in this order

Show or hide other shipments associated with the same order

Discount

Include a discount code or promotional offer in the email

  1. Use the preview toolbar in the top-right to switch between desktop, tablet, and mobile views

  2. Click the source code icon (</>) to edit the email in HTML directly

  3. Click Revert to default at the bottom to restore the original template at any time

Note: Customer email addresses must be included when importing shipments for notifications to be delivered. If a shipment has no associated customer email, the notification will not be sent.
