Blacklisted Routing

Blacklisted Routing lets you replace tracking details with a custom message when a shipment's tracking information contains specific keywords. This is useful for hiding sensitive carrier routing information or replacing confusing carrier-specific status messages with clearer, customer-friendly text.

How it works

When a tracking event contains a blacklisted keyword, Track123 replaces the tracking details shown on your tracking page with the custom message you define — instead of displaying the raw carrier data.

Add a blacklist rule

  1. Go to Tracking Page in the left navigation

  2. Find the Blacklisted routing section

  3. Click Add rule

  4. Enter the keyword to match

  5. Enter the custom message to display instead

  6. Save the rule

Example use cases

  • Hide internal warehouse routing codes that would confuse customers

  • Replace carrier-specific error messages with a friendlier message such as "Your package is on its way — please allow 1–2 business days for an update."

  • Mask third-party logistics partner names for white-label operations
